Attachment F Attachment E Attachment D Attachment C Attachment B Attachment A Solicitation SF-1449 Cover Letter OVERVIEW: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) under BEP solicitation number BEP-11-0008. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48 including amendments effective January 31, 2011. The NAICS code is 325910. This requirement is issued under unrestricted full and open competition. II. REQUIREMENT: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for Typographic Currency Overprinting and Processing Equipment (COPE) Green Ink to be used in the printing of U.S. paper currency at the BEP's Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, TX and Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) in Washington, DC in accordance with the requirements set forth in this solicitation. The Government anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with fixed-price line items. The period of performance will be for one (1) twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. III. EVALUATION & AWARD: The procurement will be negotiated and awarded according to the procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 15. Offerors are requested to submit a fifty (50) pound material sample with their offer for testing and evaluation as set for in section L of this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer is technically acceptable and is determined to be the best value to the Government as outlined in section M of this solicitation. IV. DUE DATE: Responses are due no later than 9:00 A.M. EST on Monday, August 22, 2011.
