- Solicitation Amendment 1, Page 1 of 1 The project consists of reconstructing approximately 500 feet of Mill Creek adjacent to Forest Service Road No. 309, milepost 1.3. Improvements consist of, but are not limited to; dewatering and rewatering the site, excavating material to shape and regrade the stream channel, installing instream structures for habitat, revegetating and seeding disturbed areas, realigning and surfacing Road No. 309 for approximately 700 linear feet, excavation and embankment of the roadway, installing drainage culverts, and grading drainage ditches along roadway. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) necessary to complete the work according to the contract. The project is located on the Clearwater Ranger District of the Nez Perce National Forest, approximately 12 miles southeast of Grangeville in Idaho County, Idaho (Section 34, Township 29 North, Range 4 East). The project area is located at Milepost 1.3 on FS Road 309 off State Highway 14. Refer to the location map on the title sheet of the plans.The estimated price range for the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation was issued on 6/30/11 with implementation planned for the Summer/Fall of 2011. No pre-bid tour is planned at this time. This acquisition has been set-aside for HUBZone Concerns. Offerors must be certified HUBZone Concerns with the U.S. Small Business Administration to be eligible for consideration. Solicitation was amended on 7/22/11 to remove a requirement for the stream diversion structure and clarify that this structure will become the property of the contractor upon project completion. Offerors shall return a signed copy of this amendment with their offer. The solicitation response date has not been extended.
