- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contractor to supply all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles supervision, and all other necessary equipment and services to remove approximately 100 yards of debris from the Applegate Spillway Cute left abutment wall drainage ditch in accordance with the Performance Work Statement at the end of the posted solicitation. Contractor shall be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance before commencement of work and must supply TWO (2) copies to the US Army Corps of Engineers, ONE (1) copy to the US Army Corps of Engineers Contracting office and ONE (1) copy to the designated Contracting Officers Representative (COR). The COR shall be named at time of contract award. Please refer to the Instructions to Offerors page, Page 3, of the solicitation for a list of the required submittals. A site Visit has been scheduled for July 29, 2011 at 9:00 AM for interested potential Contractors to assess the work area. While not required, the US Army Corps of Engineers recommends potential offerors to attend the site visit. If interested in attending the site visit, please send the name of your company and names of visitors that shall attend no later than 3:30 PM Pacific Standard Time on Thursday July 28, 2011 to jean.p.bretz@usace.army.mil. No questions shall be answered by telephone. All questions must be submitted via e-mail to jean.p.bretz@usace.army.mil. The answers to any submitted questions shall be answered by a formal amendment to the solicitation.
