- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), has a requirement for Maccor Series 4000 Battery Test System. The Maccor Series 4000 battery test system is a high precision, turn-key, off the shelf unit, expandable in voltage and current, and comes with software and computer packages. The proposed contract action is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Maccor Industries, Tulsa, Oklahoma. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government ™s intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This action is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 5 and Subpart 13.5. Maccor Industries is the only manufacturer that meets the Government minimum requirement of 15 channels, 60VDC per channel and 15Amp parallelable channels for scalable charge and discharge rates. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
