- The dates included in this announcement are approximate and may be subject to change at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. Actual dates will be established at the time the Request For Quotation is made available. The principle components of the work include the following: removing and disposing of approximately 27,190 linear feet of existing 4-wire barbed-wire and woven-wire fence; installing approximately 27,190 linear feet 3-wire barbed-wire fence; installing ten (10) 3-wire barbed wire gates; installing 25 wood-post corner brace panels; installing 41 wood-post in-line brace panels. All fence materials (wood posts, steel posts, barbed wire, brace post wire, staples, nails, wire clips) will be furnished by the Government and installed by the Contractor. The work is located along Jamestown Reservoir approximately 6 to 9 miles north of Jamestown, North Dakota, in Stutsman County. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) package will be available for viewing at www.FBO.gov on or after August 12, 2011. Quotes are tentatively due before Close of Business (COB) August 26, 2011 in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings MT 59101. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $25,000 to $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238990. The Small Business Size Standard is $14 million. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must have an active registration. Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. All representations and certifications which used to appear in Section K of Bureau of Reclamation Solicitations are now online. To complete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), contractors shall go to http://orca.bpn.gov. When the solicitation is issued it will be available electronically via a link from the Federal Business Opportunities Website (www.fbo.gov).
