- Description
- The purpose of this Request for Quote is for the repair construction of the sewer and water system located at the Chelan Ranger Station, on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Chelan Ranger District, Chelan County, Washington. Project work at the site shall include but not be limited to: Replace approximately 60 ft of concrete sewer pipe with 6 inch PVC sewer pipe and approximately 225 feet of water line with 1 inch schedule 80 water line at the Chelan Ranger Station. Contractor will be required to cap off existing sewer line and replace with a new schedule 80 6 inch sewer line as specified on the drawings. The contractor will also be required to replace the existing water line from the connection into the meter to the connections to all of the buildings on the compound. All waterline work in this contract is optional; determination of whether work will be completed will be made at time of award. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The contractor is responsible for aquiring all permits for excavating and working in city sidewalk and roadway. The contract shall prepare and submit a traffic control plan. All work shall comply with "City of Chelan Development Standards Manual" and The Chelan City Standards. This project is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be available for download from FBO on or about August 8th, 2011. The solicitation will only be available from this site. No paper copies will be mailed.
