- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Contractor Name HNTB-Gerwick River Solutions JV, Contract Number W912EK-09-D-0007 THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A MODIFICATION NOTICE FOR A PREVIOUSLY AWARDED ARRA TASK ORDER. DO NOT RESPOND. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers intends to award a modification that will extend the performance period from 15 September 2011 to 15 January 2012. During the diligent execution of the task order the contractor has uncovered several issues that need to be resolved at both district and HQ levels before final completion of the contract. These issues involve complex legal opinions and real estate due diligence of the USACE projects. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, awarded a firm fixed price task order for Period Levee Inspecations. The A/E shall perform services to provide equipment, supplies, personnel, vehicles and adhere to right of entry permissions to conduct levee safety periodic inspections of required systems near Des Moines, Waterloo, Evansdale, Dubuque, Muscatine, Iowa and Beardstown, Rock Island, Illinois.
