- Synopsis Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB, Tennessee has a requirement to furnish a Four Channel of High Definition Serial Digital Interface (HDSDI) graphics overlay hardware and software system. Prospective offerors are required to meet salient features of Four Channel of High Definition Serial Digital Interface (HDSDI) graphics overlay hardware and software in accordance with the Equipment Specifications and Statement of Work, in addition to any other attachments (if applicable) that will be identified in the solicitation. A firm-fixed price, Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable contract is to be awarded from this requirement. This is Full and Open Competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 with business size standard of 750 employees We need to have four separate, independent HDSDI inputs into the video graphics system. On top of each of these video signals, we must be able to overlay four different sets of alpha/numeric values. These overlay signals must be separate and independent from each other. These overlay values will be changing in real time and must update on the video screen in real time. Example: Video one is a side view of the tunnel. We want to display Mach Number in the upper right corner of the video screen. The mach number is changing as we run, therefore the value displayed on the video screen must change accordingly. Video two is a top view of the model. We want to display Total Temperature in the lower center of the video screen and Total Pressure next to that. Total Temperature and Total Pressure are changing as we run, therefore the values displayed on the video screen must change accordingly. All three of the parameters will be sent to the overlay system together. The software will be programmed to send to Mach Number to one channel and the Temp and Pressure to another channel. Requests for Proposals (RFP) will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page at http://www.fbo.gov estimated on or about 27 July 2011. Proposal due date will be on or about August 12, 2011. No hard copies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of the contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov/ccr/ or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-866-606-8220.
