- Description
- It is the intent of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for maintenance and testing on a Senstar Permitrax Buried Cable Intrusion Detection System to Senstar, Inc. of Herndon, Virginia. Senstar, the original installer of the system, has the factory trained and certified personnel capable of testing and repairing the installed system. The factory trained and certified personnel would be able to determine failures with the Senstar Permitrax equipment and modules and expedite the repair of the system to prevent a compromise in the Soo Locks Facility security system. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting this requirement may submit a capability statement not-to-exceed two pages to LRE-Quotes@usace.army.mil by the response date stated on this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
