- The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, intends to award a sole source modification under existing contract N00024-07-D-5222 with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, 12450 Fair Lakes Circle, Suite 800, Fairfax, Virginia, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 to increase the contract ceiling by $54,388,253. The contract is for the Common Display System (CDS) Consoles and was competitively awarded on November 2, 2007. There is no change to the period of performance. This modification includes contract ceiling increases for all variants and configurations of hardware as well as software development and certification, spares, and any end of life purchases necessitated by obsolescence or other configuration changes. Award is planned for the 4th quarter FY11. Notice: This proposed contract action is not a request for competitive proposals; however, persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this synopsis or by submitting a proposal. Responses to this notice must be e-mailed to khanh.p.pham@navy.mil and received by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on August 05, 2011. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Normally information received will be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
