- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation also uses the simplified acquisition procedures contained in Part 13. This is a Name Brand Purchase; this purchase is a follow-on contract for products compatible with existing emergency equipment. Date: July 18, 2011 Contracting Office Address: USPFO for Arizona, 5645 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, Az 85008-3423 Subject: Motorola Radios for Western Army Aviation Training Site (WAATS) Fire Dept. Proposed Solicitation Number: W912L2-11-T-0025 Opening and Closing Response Date: a. Open - July 18, 2011 b. Close - AUG 01, 2011 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-53. All responsible sources may submit a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote which shall be considered by the agency. Quote shall be labeled with the solicitation number. The Government intends to purchase radios for emergency Vehicles. Vendors shall submit a quote to provide, deliver and Install the following equipment, for a quantity of Five: Motorola APX 7500 Radios with additional features for use in the emergency vehicles. All quotes should be marked valid through 3:00pm EST of SEP 01, 2011. If a quote fails to meet any of the instructions in this solicitation then it will be set aside and not considered. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Arizona Army National Guard (AZNG) has a requirement to purchase five vehicle mounted radios for the Fire Dept located at the Western Army Aviation Training Site. The Vendor shall provide and install the following equipment listed below, for a quantity of five, onto Government Owned Vehicles: APX7500 DUAL BAND MID POWER, UHF R1 MP PRIMARY BAND, VHF MP SECONDARY BAND, ENABLE DUAL BAND OPERATION, ASTRO DIGITAL CAI OP APX, CONVENTIONAL OPERATION, APX O5 CONTROL HEAD, CONTROL HEAD SOFTWARE, REMOTE MOUNT MID POWER, VHF ANT WIDEBAND 136-174 MHZ, ANT WIDEBAND 380-470 MHZ MAXRA, AES ENCRYPTION APX, 2 YR REPAIR SERVICE ADVANTAGE, AUXILARY SPEAKER MOTORCYCLE, PALM MIC, CABLE CH, PROGRAMMING, USB, KEYLOADING CABLE ADAPTER, MOBILE KEYLOAD CABLE, CPS R05.00.00 ASTRO DIG APX POR MOB, All miscellaneous hardware, wiring, electrical materials, mounting equipment will be provided by the vendor and accounted for in the quotation. Vendor shall contact the Installation POC to arraign for schedule of delivery and installation. No deliveries or work will be accepted/ performed without prior notification. The POC must be notified 48 hours prior to delivery, Monday thru Friday. POC for Delivery/Notification is CPT. Humberto Bonfiglio: 520-750-5071. The Vendor shall have the requirements listed above (See#2) delivered and installed no later than 45 days from receipt of order. All costs associated with the delivery/installation of the requirements will be incurred by the Vendor/FOB Destination. Installation shall be done at on site at the WAATS. Government Vehicles: 1. U.S. Military M1142 Tactical Fire Fighting Truck If further vehicle information is needed for quotation, Vendors may call the Installation POC for specific vehicle information or to schedule a visit to inspect the Government owned equipment. Installer(s) must have a minimum two years experience or at a minimum a supervisor of installer(s) with a minimum two years experience, in installing systems similar to the type mentioned above.
