- SOL: VA-261-11-RP-0628 Due: Aug. 11, 2011 (est'd) Request for Proposal (RFP) - System Architecture development develop infrastructure to integrate a knowledge-based clinical decision support (CDS) into the existing VISN 21 data warehouse and to develop new packages to address project needs, including, for example, data warehouse dashboard tools that extend the current system to new functionality linked to CDS; link output from the execution engine for the CDS using newly developed knowledge bases to performance measures for clinical quality management; develop and integrate the CDS output graphical user interface (GUI) with the VISN21 data warehouse; and other. This work requires knowledge of methods for data extraction from the VA Regional Data Warehouse (RDW); knowledge of the ATHENA-Clinical Decision Support (CDS) architecture including the output of the execution engine to the GUI. Requires ongoing coordination with staff from multiple groups within VA to ensure integration and coordination of all components. The intent is to sole source this award to the company that designed the current ATHENA-CDS data extraction from RDW and current GUI display since they only would have the detailed knowledge of these systems to properly provide and rapidly develop linkages to all relevant systems. The NAICS code is 541511 size standard of $25.0 million applies. Product Service code of D308 applies. The actual solicitation should be posted on or about August 5, 2011. Contractor is responsible for submitting all documents required in accordance with the solicitation, including any amendments which will be posted on this website. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding. Price includes all parts and labor to repair any failure due to a manufacturer or installation defect; and one site visit during the warranty period for service or repair. Quotations shall be submitted on an all or nothing basis. Partial quotations will be rejected. Quotations shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date.
