- Description
- Provide student housing management services to accommodate approximately 2,100 on-campus students at the Fedearl Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) facility located at Glynco, Georgia. The services to be provided under this contract will include but are not limited to: (1) custodial services (to include student rooms as well as common areas such as lobby/restrooms, study rooms, conference rooms, TV lounges, game rooms, laundry rooms, exercise rooms, and vending areas); (2) desk clerk services (check in/room assignment to all incoming students); (3) basic and preventive maintenance; and (4) lock/safe maintenance for all students attending training. The Contractor will be required to provide all management, personnel, supervision, materials, supplies required to and have in-depth knowledge of management support services type of operating hotel/lodging type facilities. NAICS Code 561720 is used for this project. Contract will be awarded with a base period (October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012) and four additional one-year option periods. The awarded contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The solicitation HSFLGL-11-B-00001 will be issued on or about July 25, 2011. Bid and performance bonds will be required in the sum of 20% bid/awarded amount. One site visit will be established; date and time will be listed in solicitation. This solicitation will only be available on the internet at the following address: www.fbo.gov and find the above mentioned solicitation number. The Contracting Officer for this project is Sheryle Wood. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR 8(a) FIRMS SERVICED BY THE SBA. THERE IS NO GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION ON THIS COMPETITIVE 8(a) PROCUREMENT.
