- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # M00263-11-T-0054 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-52 and DFARS Public Notice 20110518. This solicitation is unrestricted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement are 424120/532420 This acquisition is for the procurement or leasing of nonpersonal supplies to provide an estimated 210 copiers and multifunctional devices support for Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Eastern Recruiting Region, Parris Island, South Carolina 29905; the Naval Hospital, Beaufort, South Carolina 29902; Naval Dental Centers on Parris Island, South Carolina 29905 and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Beaufort, South Carolina 29904; Strike Fighter Wing VFA-86, MCAS, Beaufort, South Carolina 29904; and Combat Service Support Detachment 23, MCAS, Beaufort, South Carolina. The contract type will be a requirements contract pursuant to FAR Subpart 16.503 for a base period of 12 months and four (4) one year option periods. The period of performance will be from 01 October 2011 through 30 September 2012. The contract requirements for these copiers and multifunctional devices are outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) as set forth in the contract. The Government will review quotes for both leasing and purchasing of this equipment. The Government will make a decision on whether to lease all or procure all based on what is considered to be in the best interest of the Government. In case the Government makes a decision to purchase the copiers and multifunctional devices, quotes shall also include the cost of maintenance on the Government owned equipment (after the warranty period expires) for all remaining performance periods. The applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses that apply to this acquisition can be found at the end of the SF 1449.
