Description
This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside for Project 519-11-400, Renovate Urgent Care at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring, Texas (WTVAHCS). The Veterans Administration intends to issue a solicitation requesting bids to provide all work shown on the drawings and included in the specifications. The project requires the contractor to furnish all material, equipment, supervision, and labor to remediate mold in an approximately 1,375 square foot area, design and install a new HVAC system in accordance with the VA HVAC Design Manual and renovate the Urgent Care area to include installing a new ceiling, walls, and finishes. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code) is 236220. Project Magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed period of performance for this acquisition is 120 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about August 4, 2011 via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to review the FBO website frequently for updates and/or amendments to any and all documents for this solicitation. Any prospective SDVOSB contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov, and the Vetbiz Registry at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, in order to be eligible for award. The closing date and time for submission of proposals will be contained in the solicitation. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted.
