- Description
- SOW for 105-0382-11 J&A for 105-0382-11 The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), 4545 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500 intends to issue a contract with S&C Electric Company C/O Chas. W. Ashby Co., 6601 N Ridge Blvd, Chicago, IL 60626-3904. The purpose is to remove four(4) existing battery and Power Conversion Modules from the PureWave UPS and provide and install replacement battery modules with a minimum 5-year manufacturer's warranty and RD-22 Style Power Conversion Modules with a minimum 2-year manufacturer's warranty. A copy of the statement of work and a copy of the Justification and Approval For Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A) are attached to this synopsis. The following provisions and contract clauses apply to this procurement: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. No solicitations shall be issued other than this notice. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to MSIC by FAX 256-313-7963 or email to Donna Tignor at tigor@msic.dia.mil. All proposals must be received by 1130 a.m. Central Time 27 Jul 11 and must be proposed FOB Destination.
