- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Project Title: Y--- INSTALL ADA DOOR-----Fort Detrick, MD Solicitation # W81XWH-11-R-0352 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation Posted Date: 7/19/2011 Classification Code: Y-Construction of Structures and Facilities NAICS CODE: 236210/236220 THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. USAMRAA is seeking small eligible business firms capable of installing new ADA/Security auto door openers at Fort Detrick, MD. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The appropriate NAICS code for this 236210/236220. This will basis for award be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer. When the actual solicitation is issued, plans and specs will be available for download from either the www.fbo.gov or https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ Website. Solicitation # W81XWH-11-R-0352 will be issued on or about 4 August 2011 and proposals will be due on or about 5 Sept 2011 @ 4:30 PM EST. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments from either the www.fbo.gov or https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ Website. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov. This procurement is Small Business Set-aside 100%. Required Work Summary: Selected contractor shall perform the installation of new ADA/Security auto door openers based on the Statement of Work, contract terms and conditions, plans, drawings and specifications as follows: Install two front existing exterior entrance/exit doors as well as six existing restroom doors within building 568 located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. The existing doors are in a commercial building and are of commercial standards. The contractor shall be shown the exact door location within the building by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). These drawings will be provided when the actual solicitation is issued.
