- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Acquisition Operations Group, Denver, Colorado, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Spacesave Systems, Inc (DBA Infolinx System Solutions), 10800 Connecticut Ave, Kensington, MD 20895. The requirement is for a software configuration and update to the Infolinx software as part of the REDS records software and hardware environment. The Corporate Information Services Group is in need of technical resources and technical services to assist in the upgrade effort of the Reclamation Electronic Data System (REDS) Records software and hardware equipment. REDS Records is an Enterprise Records Management solution focused on safeguarding and managing the official records and record drawings for the Bureau of Reclamation. The system has reached the end of its five year life cycle and is due for modernization work for ensuring the system is operated in a supportable and secure manner. The current software used for the REDS system is Infolinx System Software. The software code can only be updated/configured by Infolinx System Solutions as the software coding is proprietary information. Competition is restricted to only one source per FAR 6.302-1. This procurement will be awarded using FAR Part 15 procedures with an intended period of performance of 08/01/2011 through 12/31/2011. Anticipated award date is July 25, 2011. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal by 2:00 pm MST, July 22, 2011, which shall be considered by the agency.
