- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia Site intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, the procurement of thirty (30) boat set controls from Livorsi Marine Inc. These controls are required for the Riverine Assault Boats (RAB) and Riverine Patrol Boats (RPB). The boat set controls will consist of a 2 handle black friction throttle assembly. The solicitation is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334519. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and technical proposals. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. The solicitation is expected to be released within 15 days of this posting. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
