- Description
- This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE procurement in accordance with FAR part 19. The USDA, Forest Service, intends to replace the Regional Office building roof. This construction project involves, but not limited to the installation of 28,154 square feet of sprayed polyurethane foam roofing. Job site is located at 1323 Club Drive, Vallejo, CA 94592. Start date of the project is estimated on or about September 19, 2011. Contractor must begin work within 10 days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. The North American Industry Classification System, ("NAICS") code assigned to this project is 238160, Roofing Contractors. The magnitude of the requirement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Small Business Administration size standard is $14 million. All contractors must register with the Central Contractor Registry ("CCR") at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation and supporting documents will be posted to the FedBizopps.gov website on or about fifteen days from this posting. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the solicitation will be available for download no earlier than 15 days following the posting of this synopsis and the response date of the solicitation is no earlier than 30 days from the date of the solicitation release date. The solicitation due date will be noted on the solicitation at the time of issue. Paper copies of solicitation will not be issued. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor FedBizopps.gov for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. This is a pre-solicitation notice; additional information shall be provided when the solicitation is issued. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation when issued. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. The USDA, Forest Service encourages the participation of HUBZone, small business firms, women-owned business, minority/disadvantaged business firms, service-disabled and veteran-owned business concerns.
