- The Munitions Systems and Technology Directorate (MS&TD) at RDECOM-ARDEC has arequirement for an Ammunition Engineering Design & Manufacturing Technology Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The work generally supports 105MM and 120MM systems, and may be kinetic energy or chemical energy related. Services include (1) engineering and technology development, (2) manufacturing, and (3) component testing. The majority of work and emphasis is on manufacturing support and component testing activities. Direct fabrication of limited quantities of system components utilizing secure, Contractor owned and managed US based facilities is required. The work will involve both Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond line of Sight (BLOS) systems, with emphasis on LOS systems. Resultant from the solicitation, the Government anticipates the award of Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) for a period of five (5) years with Cost Plus Fixed Fee and Firm Fixed Price delivery and task orders being issued. This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP shall be available electronically at the following internet address: http://www.fbo.gov, on or about 15 days from the date of this announcement. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database by accessing the CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for contract award.
