- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern California Healthcare System, requires the following services in the Martinez, CA area for the period of October 1, 2011 - September 30, 2012: Audiologist services for veterans. Services include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with hearing impairment. The audiologist shall be responsible for scheduling, evaluating and treating patients referred within the VA health system; documenting in accordance with the VA site and department policy; and communicating results/recommendations and progress to patients, families, physicians, and other health care professionals involved in patient's care. At this point, only one known source (Valley Audiology, Concord, CA) is known that is capable of providing these services to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern California Healthcare System. Award will be made to this firm noncompetitively in the absence of any other sources. NAICS code 621340 applies with a size standard of $5 million.
