- Sole Source J&A THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Marine Corps Forces Central Command (MARCENT), MacDill AFB, FL 33621, requires support services to provide hardware and software replacement for access control to secure work areas and buildings. The 6th Contracting Squadron intends to make an award to Advantor Systems Corporation, 12612 Challanger Parkway, Suite 300, Orlando, FL 32826. Interested parties may e-mail joyce.wright@us.af.mil or fax 813-828-5111, no later than Wednesday, 27 July, 9:00 a.m. EST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by Wednesday, 27 July, 9:00 a.m. EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A Sources Sought notice was posted on Fed Biz Ops 6 June 2011 to seek other sources. There were no responses from industry submitted by the due date of 6 July 2011.
