- REQUEST FOR QUOTATION DETAILS: The electronic Request for Quotations, P11PS0007. will be aavailable on or about August 3rd, 2011 at www.fbo.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All offerors must establish and/or maintain an active registration at http://www.ccr.gov and complete the online representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to the RFQ closing date. Responses will be due at 12:00pm September 1st, 2011. This is a best value procurement that is being set aside for small businesses. All work will be performed under a single Firm-Fixed Price construction contract subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 - $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 with an associated small business size standard of $14M. PAPER COPIES OF THE REQUEST FOR QUOTATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE REQUEST FOR QUOTATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park has a requirement for a single contractor to provide all materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary to remove the current walk-in refrigerator and fabricate, deliver, and install a new Walk-In Refrigerator at the Paradise Inn, located 16 miles inside the West Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. DELIVERY/INSTALLATION: Approximate contract performance period is 30 days. No onsite removal or installation work can begin until October 05, 2011 following the seasonal closing of the Inn. SITE VISIT: A formal pre-bid site visit will be held August 15th, 2011, 1:00pm at the Paradise Inn, Paradise, WA 98398.
