Bannister Road Kansas City, Missouri 64131 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BID. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR GOVERNMENT PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Service Centers Division, Contract Services Branch (6PSC), 1500 E. Bannister Road, Room 2101, Kansas City, Missouri 64131 is seeking SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY who believe they can perform both financially and physically the Building Operations and Mechanical Maintenance at the below locations. BACKGROUND The GSA, PBS, has a need for a Building Operations and Mechanical Maintenance services for the Bannister Federal Complex. The government owned buildings are listed below and are part of the same complex at 1500 E. Bannister Road. The Government would like to award to one small business the below locations in one contract as a result of one solicitation: Building Gross Square Feet Federal Building #1 1,066,218 Federal Building #2 259,931 Federal Building #3 27,220 Federal Building #4 11,472 Federal Building #6 19,840 Federal Building #28 4,176 Federal Building #41 103,401 Federal Building #50 12,937 Federal Building #52 8,844 Federal Building #60 4,090 2306 E. Bannister Road 410,177 2312 E. Bannister Road 152,571 Total Gross Square Footage of all buildings: 2,080,877 NOTE: See Attachment A, Questionnaire, in reference to the above locations. In 2002, a contract for Building Maintenance and Mechanical Services, Facilities Management Services was awarded. This contract will expire on September 30, 2011. SCOPE The Contractor will have to provide all administration, management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools and equipment (except as otherwise provided); and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, inspect and ensure effective and economical completion of all mechanical and related services. The Contractor will provide all operational, mechanical and related services, all preventive maintenance, and repairs in accordance with the requirements of at the Bannister Federal Complex, 1500 East Bannister Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64131 for Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 28, 41,50, 52, 60, 2306, and 2312 and all equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, structures, architectural finishes, and utilities, located on, within, or beneath, this facility's interior and exterior extending to the legal property line. 2. CONTRACT TYPE GSA is anticipating a performance based, commercial item, firm fixed price contract. 3. DURATION OF CONTRACT GSA is aniticpating a one (1) three year base period with two (2) three-year option periods and one (1) one-year option period. Total contract duration, if all options are exercised, would be ten (10) years. 4. INFORMATION REQUIRED GSA requests that if your firm is eligible and interested, your firm complete Attachment A.
