- VA-241-RQ-1026 Renovate CLC West Wing NAICS: 236220 $33.5 Million SET-ASIDE: SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES LOCATION: Northampton VAMC, 421 N. MAIN ST., LEEDS, MA 01053 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with the Public Law 109-461, Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006. Contractor must be verified in the Center for Veteran Enterprises database and in the Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for award. VAAR 836.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 The Vendor shall provide for all field investigation, historic preservation reviews and submittals, hazardous material identification, characterization and removal, industrial hygienist monitoring, permits, design, construction document (drawings, cost estimate and specifications) preparation, demolition and the Vendor shall provide and install all material, features, utilities, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the renovation of existing space, primarily interior, for new nursing home care unit. Work will involve hazardous material abatement, general demolition and new mechanical, electrical, and architectural construction. All work, text, color, material, design, fabrication, demolition, construction and installation shall be subject to review and written approval by the VAMC prior to conducting the associated work. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Our office no longer releases solicitations or amendments in paper form. It is the responsibility of the quoters to verify the number of amendments issued. Solicitation Package will be available on or about August 3, 2011.
