Description
SQLDBI Application Development and Database The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to award a sole source contract to Chainbridge Technologies, located in Vienna, VA, for technical expertise to design and develop software applications. The development will utilize the existing SQLDBI licenses and framework implemented at NIFA to provide application systems meeting specified business requirements using the Chainbridge Technologies SQLDBI software product for: developing and implementing enhancements to the OIT Budget Management database and application, collection and management of OIT budget and accounting data, develop and implement enhancements to the NIFA National Program Leader Program Outcomes Database, collection of grant results from NIFA internal sources, implement enhancements to the NIFA Request For Applications (RFA) Tracking System. The system will track the creation, development, and modification of RFAs though the entire RFA business process, design, develop, and implement the 4-H Name and Emblem Application Process System. The 4-H Name and Emblem is a Federal mark, protected by 18 U.S.C. 707, and is entrusted by Congress to the Secretary of Agriculture. The Secretary has delegated responsibility for the proper use of the 4-H Name and Emblem to the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) and, within NIFA, responsibility resides in the 4-H National Headquarters-USDA. As such, the 4-H Name and Emblem Application Process System will automate this now manual process and ensure the detailed procedures to use the seal are held in compliance with the law. Anticipated award date is July 29, 2011
