- Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A sources sought is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify small business concerns, for a Firm-Fixed, IDIQ type contract for Washer/Dryer Leasing Services. This requirement is to be performed at Fort Sam Houston and Lackland Air Force Base, TX. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether a small business set-aside is in the Government's best interest. The Government intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price, IDIQ type contract for services. The NAICS Code is 532210. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be for one year (base) plus four options years. A response to this sources sought synopsis will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. The 502ND Contracting Squadron is seeking eligible SMALL business firms capable of providing Washer/Dryer Leasing Services. Please see the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a detailed description of the work that needs to be performed; a final PWS will be issued at the time of solicitation. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: It is requested that interested small businesses submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single-spaced, 12-point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: 1) Written narrative (not to exceed 10 pages) of Contractor's capability to provide Washer/Dryer Leasing Services 2) Company size in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 532210) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; 4) The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concern, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business, or Service disabled veteran owned small business; and 5) Point of Contact information to include name, email address, telephone and fax numbers. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM CENTRAL STANDARD TIME ON MONDAY, AUGUST 1, 2011. PACKAGES CAN BE SENT ELECTRONICALLY TO RENATA.A.FREEMAN.CIV@MAIL.MIL & CHARLES.D.RHEA.CIV@MAIL.MIL. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government WILL NOT provide a debrief on the results of the survey. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended.
