- Description
- The US Forest Service in North Carolina has a requirement for construction of a new LEED certified (Silver ) Appalachian Ranger District Office in Madison County, N.C. Project site is located approximately thirty mile north of Asheville, N.C. Work covered under this project includes but is not limited to a new office facility (approx. 7500 square foot), paved access road, erosion control, site utilities, concrete parking facility and associated grading and landscaping throughtout the complex. This project is 100% hubzone set aside. The performance period is 300 calendar days. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,500.00. The solicitation package will be available on this site on or about July 28,2011. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 11 August 2011 at 9:00 AM at the Appalachian Ranger District Office. Directions to the site visit will be addressed in the solicitation.
