- Description
- The U.S. Geological has a requirement for the renovation of a stream flow gauging station located on the Congaree River at Columbia, South Carolina to be completed by no later than 12/31/2011. A partial list of requirements includes: 1) replacement of intake that allows water to enter stilling well from the river, 2) replacement of intake flushing mechanism, 3) structural and cosmetic repair of roof and exterior of structure, 4) repair of concrete steps used to access the river and 5) replacement of existing retaining wall. RFQ G11PS00604 will be issued on or about 07/14/2011 with written quotes due on or about 08/04/2011. This solicitation will result in the award of a firm fixed-price contract. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 238190. The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/08/2011. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/ to be awarded the contract. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business.
