- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase to NewsBank Inc. Posted Date: July 14, 2011 Procurement Office: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Headquarters Procurement Operations Division (3803R) Response Date: July 25, 2011 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to NewsBank Inc. for services to provide the agency with electronic access to multiple news subscriptions. NewsBank Inc. is the only reliable source of this comprehensive collection of news information who can deliver electronic version solution. NewsBank Inc. has not released the rights for electronic submission of its collection of newspapers to any distributor. This notice is posted for notification purposes only. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One responsible source and no other supplies or services satisfy the Agency's requirements. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered.
