Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0258 for the following service: The intent of an awarded contract shall be to provide uniform and floor mat rental and weekly laundering for staff at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL. The Contractor will provide each employee with receive 11 short sleeve shirts for summer and 11 long sleeve shirts for winter. The summer temp hires do not receive long sleeve shirts. Each employee also is to receive 2 jackets. The summer temp hires do not receive jackets. Every week a week's worth of uniforms are picked up for laundering and the previous' week's laundered uniforms are returned. The mats are also picked up this way. Patches are sewn, employee name over right pocket and cemetery over left. Camp Butler Emblem on left arm and flag on right, sewn. The employee name and cemetery name are on patches not directly sewn to material. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation, any pertinent OSHA Occupational and Safety regulations, and any State and/or local regulations, laws and codes. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 812331 with size standard $30 Million or 812332 with size standard is $35.5 Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 22, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 P.M. on August 3, 2011. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. Responses shall be submitted in the format required in the solicitation in Section E.
