Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5. The VISN 11 Contracting Service Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan intends to solicit and negotiate to provide off-site transcription services for the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, Ann Arbor, MI (estimated 600,000 lines per year); VA Medical Center, Battle Creek, MI (estimated 680,000 lines per year); John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI (estimated 800,000 lines per year); Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, MI (estimated 325,000 lines per year); Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN (estimated 541,235 lines per year); Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne and Marion, IN (estimated 2,900,000 lines per year); and, VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, IL (estimated 2,300,000 lines per year). It is the VA's intention to award one (1) contract for each facility, however the VA reserves the right to make multiple awards. A vendor may be awarded more than one contract. The contract(s) will be for the period of one (1) year with four (4) pre-priced option years. The contractor shall provide everything necessary to provide transcription services, including but not limited to, personnel hardware, software, utilities, references, supplies, materials, equipment, telephone lines, internet connectivity, and labor to perform the work in accordance with the terms and conditions. The contractor shall be located within the United States and no dictated material from the VA will be sent electronically outside of the territory of the United States. This request for proposal will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website www.fbo.gov on or about June 6, 2011 and due 30 calendar days after being posted. The NAICS code for this requirements is 561410 with a small business size standard $7 million. The request for proposal will be set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.
