- Amendment 0001: Completion Time for this project is 60 calendar days after award. The U. S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service, Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML)located in Charleston, SC. Recent projects and equipment upgrades have placed a higher demand on securing and maintaining uninterrupted argon gas service to the Hollings Marine Laboratory (heretofore referenced as HML). The objective of this project is to install a new stainless steel tubing argon gas delivery system at the HML to replace the current multiple dewar system with a continuous service microbulk argon delivery system. The new distribution tubing shall extend from the origin and point of connection to a future argon tank located nearby the building loading dock to laboratories C202, C209 and D204 on the second floor of HML. This project Statement of Work only relates to installation of the gas delivery infrastructure and concrete work required to install a microbulk argon tank. The microbulk argon tank (delivery, setup) and future gas service contract shall be procured and installed under a separate contract. Completion time for this project is 60 calendar days after award. This is a total small business set-aside. Estimated Construction cost is between $0 to $25,000.00. Award will be made based on best value to the government. The Request for Quotation documents will be available in approximately 10 calendar days after this posting and can be uploaded from this website. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This service is being procured under the guidelines of Far Part 36 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Eastern Region, Acquisition Management Division (ERAD), requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
