- PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT TO ASCERTAIN WEBSITE ADDRESS TO DOWNLOAD PROJECT DOCUMENTS AND PROJECT DETAILS. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. Electronic copies of the solicitation will be available to download on the National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) without further notice on or about July 29, 2011. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the general construction of modifications to the Cadillac Mountain Septic System in Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine. The work includes but is not limited to: removal of existing plastic chamber system and appurtenances; re-excavation of the site fill; construction of new system; re-use of suitable re-excavated site fill as backfill, planting of nursery stock, erosion control, seeding wood rail fence, and any other incidental work are included. A site visit is highly advisable for accurate estimation of the conditions of this project; information for the site visit will be set forth in the project documents. Construction performance period is from contract award through May 18, 2012. Estimated construction range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code 238910. The small business size standard is $14M. This solicitation is a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote. Responses will be due approximately 3 weeks following issuance of solicitation.
