- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Scope of Work for Compressor Rental 1.) Contractor shall provide (1) 1600 CFM or greater Air Compressor with after cooler and (1) 185 CFM Compressor on or about 28 Dec 11 through 28 February 12. The quotes for these units shall include delivery, setup, test run and operational training. 2.) Upon delivery to Lock and Dam 7, contractor must test run the air compressors. In addition, the contractor must conduct operational training to the Lock and Dam 7 Dewatering Project personnel. 3.) The compressor units must have a block heater system to be able to operate in the cold temperatures. Glow plug system will not permitted, must be block heater. 4.) The contractor must provide 24 hour service support and be able to respond with two hours of a reported problem. 5.) The units shall be delivered to Lock and Dam 7 33018 Highway 61 La Crescent, MN. 55947-9538 6.)
