- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC-PCD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order using the simplified acquisition process to Complete Parachute Solutions, Inc., 1320 E International Speedway Ste 1, Deland, FL 32724 for component parts to support the Advanced Ram Air Parachute System (ARAPS). The following items are being procured: two (2) main toggles, two (2) main toggles-tandem, two (2) type-7 main risers, twenty (20) safety stow loops, fifty (50) cypress reserve closing loops, one (1) tandem tube stoes, four (4) sliders-domed collapsible, twenty (20) gear bags, and two (2) heavy reserve canopies. This purchase is not suitable for full and open competition because the components being acquired are solely manufactured by Complete Parachute Solutions and the design is proprietary to them. Additionally, the components being acquired must be compatible with the ARAPS and must be of the same design as the original items approved for this system. This will maintain the integrity of the test protocols, ensure the safety of the jumpers, and comply in all aspects to approvals issued for this system by Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM). A firm-fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. Delivery will be FOB Destination NSWC PCD. NAICS Code 423490 applies. FSC is 1670. SBA Size Standard is 100 Employees.
