- Performance Work Statement for USSTRATCOM Maintenance Support. This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of the 55th Contracting Squadron to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10. This RFI is not a commercial solicitation per FAR Part 12. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary and any offer submitted by such a firm will be evaluated without prejudice. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this sources sought. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Operations activity is responsible for managing and providing internal training for effective and efficient life-cycle operations, maintenance and repair of facilities, infrastructure, real property and accountable real property installed equipment (RPIE) for the following nine facilities within the USSTRATCOM compound at Offutt AFB, NE: buildings 407, 500, 501, 513, 515, 519, 522, 591, 597 and their connecting structures. This includes (1) Operations Support; (2) Infrastructure Systems; and (3) Facility Systems Activities. Broad examples of included activities, but not limited to, are Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair, fire suppression maintenance, work request management, minor construction, structural, and roof maintenance. This activity also maintains and operates Civil Engineering (CE) customer interface. Please see attached Performance Work Statement for the complete requirement description. Offerors should indicate their intent to submit a proposal if a Request for Proposal is issued. Information shall include company name, address, point of contact (phone number and e-mail), intent of being a Prime Contractor or a Subcontractor, and type of business (i.e. small business, large business, service-disabled veteran owned, etc.). In addition, we encourage industry comments pertaining to the Performance Work Statement.
