- Description
- The Willamette National Forest intends to issue at least one firm, fixed-price IDIQ contract for Stand Exams. The objective of the stand exam is to gather vegetation information from plots established in stands on the Willamette National Forest using the U.S. Forest Service Common Stand Exam Protocols, using an electronic portable data recorder to collect the data and GPS unit to document the location of plots. All measurements shall be made in accordance with the USDA Forest Service's Common Stand Exam User Guide. Common Stand Exam User Guide is available along with data recorder software at the following website: http://www.fs.fed.us/emc/nris/products/fsveg/index.shtml. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals for Stand Exams on the Willamette National Forest. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 21, 2011. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All contractors and vendors are encouraged to complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the ORCA system.
