- SYNOPSIS - PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: PROJECT TITLE: PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW BOARD-ON-BOARD FENCE, CONCRETE PAD, AND STORAGE SHED FOR 1831 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE LOCATED AT THE U.S. COAST GUARD (USCG) TRAINING CENTER (TRACEN), CAPE MAY, NEW JERSEY 08204 GENERAL DESCRIPTION 1.1 CONTRACT DESCRIPTION A. Major work items include but are not limited to: 1. Provide and install wood fence; 2. Provide and install two wood gates; 3. Provide and install concrete pad; 4. Provide and install shed; 5. Properly tie-down shed; 6. Mobilization, demobilization and clean up; 7. Supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work. B. Install approximately 120 linear feet (L.F.) treated cedar shadowbox panels (1"x6" board, 2"x4" rail, 4"x4"x8' post, 6' high) set posts with 3000psi concrete including all associated hardware. C. Install two shadowbox gates treated cedar approximately 4'x6' with posts. D. Install 4" deep 9'x11' gravel base and concrete pad. E. Procure, install, & tie-down on concrete pad an 8'x10' Quaker-style shed to match existing shed and color scheme of house/shed. Estimated Period of Performance shall be 60 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated BELOW $25,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238990 with a size standard of $14.0 million. This acquisition is a total, 100% set-aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns eligible under the Women-Owned Small Business Program in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.1505(c) and 52.219-30. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. All work shall be performed in accordance with USCG Statement of Work, drawings, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions which will be provided when all Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation document files become available for download on or after 28 JULY 2011 exclusively from the Internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. If it does not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 25 August 2011. These dates are estimated and may change. NOTE: NO TELEPHONE, FACSIMILE, E-MAIL AND/OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
