- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure, on a sole source basis, to Nova Electric, a quantity of three(3) Uninterruptible Power Supplies (P/N GRSLPFC11-3.5K60-115/220A-120-5M-10274). Nova Electric is located at 100 School St. Bergenfield, NJ 07621-2915. This model of Nova Electric UPS has been approved and baselined into the existing subsystem as the unit of record. The consideration of an alternative UPS would require the performance of additional EQT tests as well as the modification of installation drawings, technical manuals and other ILS products related to the existing subsystem. There is also a possibility that the use of a non-standard UPS at the facilities that are responsible for software development and testing would produce a software product/application that could not be integrated into the production TCC units. The item quoted must be the exact item specified above; substitutes are not acceptable.
