- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit on a Sole Source basis a requirement for the acquisition and logistic support of Aviation Support Equipment for the Navy Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) Philadelphia. Services include data extraction and analysis utilizing various data bases, including the NAVICP Master Data File (MDF) and Support Equipment Resources Management Information System (SERMIS) to support NAVAIR PMA-260 and NAVICP Code 0332 with the management of 6R and 2V Cog End Items of support equipment as well as 1RW and 7R items of support equipment. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced contract for a base period of one (1) year and two (2) twelve (12) month option periods, for a total of 36 months if all options are exercised. The anticipated contract award start date is 11 September 2011. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The acquisition shall be conducted using the test procedures at FAR Subpart 13.5. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Electronic Data Systems Corp on a sole source basis for this requirement. This procurement will be a follow-on to contract N00140-06-P-0802. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by the specified response date. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541519. Size Standard $25.0M. FSC-B506.
