- The proposed project is to remove and replace existing roofing on various Army Reserve Centers (ARCs) in the states of Minnesota, Maryland, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. Primary facilities may include but not limited to an ARC training building, Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS), unheated storage building, and other various buildings. Included in scope is to remove existing roof, gutters and downspouts, flashing, caulking and other incidents needed to complete the removal and replacement of the roof. Contract duration is estimated at 365 Days. The estimated cost range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. NAICS is 238160. Size Standard is $14,000,000.00. The Solicitation is a design-bid-build single phase procurement following the low cost technically acceptable process. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following technical factors: Experience, Past Performance, Safety and Price and Pro Forma Requirements. This is a small business set aside procurement. The approximate issue date is 27 July 2011 and approximate closing date is 26 August 2011, 10:00am Eastern Time. Project documents will be issued via the web only. Downloads are available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fbo.gov. Amendments will be available only through the FedBizOpps website.
