- The Drug Enforcement Administration, (DEA), Office of Acquisition & Relocation Management (FA) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Renaissance Glendale Hotel, Glendale, AZ to provide guest sleeping hotel rooms for 100 attendees each for four days at the 21st Annual Motor Vehicle Criminal Interdiction Training Conference for the period August 15, 2011 - August 18, 2011. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is D-11-NE-0109. The NAICS Code is 721110 and the size standard is $30 Million. There is no set-aside for this requirement. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Interested parties may identify their capabilities by submitting a response. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information furnished shall include enough detail information to allow the government to perform a proper review of the documentation and the documentation will not be returned. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be addressed to Paula McMillan, in writing at paula.mcmillan@usdoj.gov by July 18, 2011 at 2:00pm. The Government anticipates award of single firm fixed price purchase order. Evaluation of quotations will be based on 1) Technical Capability, 2) Past Performance, and 3) Price. Responses shall be submitted electronically to paula.mcmillan@usdoj.gov by the closing date of the RFQ, which is July 22, 2011 at 12:00pm EST. This solicitation does not commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the submission of a proposal. The Government may reject all offers received in response to this solicitation, if doing so is in the best interest of the Government. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted.
