Description
This proposed project is a new Tactical Vehicle Wash Rack, located in Fort Hunter Liggett, California. The project consists of twenty (20) wash stations situated on a concrete paved area which will accommodate tactical wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, and construction equipment for training and unit pre-mobilization. The project also consists of a control building that is approximately 700 SF, high pressure water lines, overhead lighting, sanitary facilities, and vehicle circulation areas. In addition, a water recirculation system will be constructed that consists of a sedimentation basin, equalization basin, supply basin, oil and water separator, and three (3) pumping stations. Concrete and asphalt parking and roads will be provided to accommodate tracked and wheeled vehicles. The new Tactical Vehicle Wash Rack is located in Monterey County, California. This solicitation also contains option items for (1) OMAR equipment, (2) Sand Filter and Sand Filter Pumps, and (3) Solar Powered Security Lights. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 236220, with a size standard of $33,500,000.The estimated price range is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The acquisition strategy will be Design/Bid/Build and the proposals will be evaluated using a Best Value Source Selection Process. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following technical factors: Experience, Past Performance, Management, Safety, and Price and Pro Forma Requirements. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. All Offerors are invited to attend the Site Visit, and the exact date, time and location will be noted in the solicitation. The technical information contained in the proposal will be reviewed, evaluated, and rated by the Government. A construction cost limitation will be provided with the technical requirements package. The Solicitation package will provide site plans and floor plans of all buildings, the complete Statement of Work and technical specifications. The estimated award date is September 2011. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCURMENT. Approximate issue date is 29 July 2011 and approximate closing date is 30 August 2011 at 10:00 a.m. EST.
