- The following questions were received in response to solicitation No. D11PS19008 for Motorola brand modems: Question 1):Please check with the end user to clarify the product #, as we were told by Motorola that these modems are no longer available. Answer 1):As AQD is required to distribute responses to questions to all interested prospective offerors known to us, we would like to make it known that we are aware Motorola no longer manufactures the two models the government requires. Our issuance of the solicitation was intended to hopefully locate suppliers that had remaining stock of these particular devices on hand. Prior to issuance of the solicitation, the topic surfaced as to whether or not the agency could use and would accept refurbished models. To forestall that question from being asked by prospective offerors, we would like to insure that you know only new product will be acceptable.
