- Description
- The Government is seeking a contractor to provide wetland restoration at the CA Thomas Farms in Collier County, Florida. The wetland restoration work consists of clearing and grubbing; excavation; earthfill (construction of earthen dikes and ditch plugs); installing geocell filled with gravel for low water crossings; and seeding and mulching. This is a sealed bid procurement. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the closing date. All solicitation documents will be available in electronic format at www.fbo.gov. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration data base to be eligible for award. The dollar range for the project is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00 and the estimated time for completion is 90 calendar days. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 and the SBA size is $31 million. Solicitations will be posted on FedBizopps on or about July 29, 2011, and are due on or about August 29, 2011 at 2:30 local time. Faxed bids will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be required. Information on the site visit will be posted on the solicitation. THIS IS A FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All responsible, responsive bids will be considered.
