- Description
- This Department of Homeland Security (DHS)-Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract to provide uniforms and carpet mat for the Florence Detention Facility in Florence, AZ. Clothing and other articles consist of: Uniforms for up to 14 employees plus weekly laundering swap out service and floor mat weekly cleaning and swap out service. Period of performance will be from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 with four option periods. Item 0001: WORK SHIRT - short/long sleeved shirts all one color or striped, collared, polo or button down, one or two pockets, mixed blend or 100% cotton. Item 0002: WORK PANTS - short/long trousers, all one color, four pocket mixed blend or 100% cotton. Item 0003: WORK JACKET - One color, collared, zip-out lining, two pockets, mixed blend or 100% cotton. Item 0004: CARPET MAT - Rubber with carpet, 3' x 5' Items 0001 through 0003 shall be neatly pressed/ironed and delivered on metal hangers in a protective plastic bag. They shall have a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) emblem/patch sewn on each garment above the upper left pocket, sewn by the vendor. The Government shall provide a DHS emblem/patch for each of the garments. Each DHS emblem/patch much be returned to the Government at the end of each contract or termination of services. Alterations or repairs to clothing will be requested at the time of pickup and delivery and shall be completed prior to the next scheduled pickup and delivery. Alterations and repairs such as broken or missing buttons, broken zippers, open seams and rip repairs shall be provided at no cost to the Government. Processing of all rental items shall be performed under strict guidelines and sanitary conditions. Proper adherence to all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines is required prior, during and after work being performed. Quotation is solicited FOB Origin. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 315191. This requirement is unrestricted (Full and Open). Closing date or response date for this synopsis/quotation 192111FPHUNIF3047, July 28, 2011at 5:00pm, Pacific Daylight Time. The distribution of this solicitation will be accomplished solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available therefore, no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the solicitation will be accepted. The Fed BizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this procurement, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the site.
