Description
In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.3.1.2.1 - the purpose of this Screening Information Request (SIR) is to obtain information, which will ultimately allow the FAA to identify an Offeror that provides the best value, make a selection decision, and award a contract. The FAA is requesting offers from interested sources that are capable of providing 1500 Watt Isolation Transformers in accordance with the attached solicitation. The attached SIR, Number DTFAWA-11-R-00055, is for the procurement of this effort. Please review the solicitation in its entirety and carefully follow the instructions. This is a competitive procurement and is intended to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated contract period is five (5) years, a base year with four one-year option periods. Offeror submissions must be received no later than 1:00 pm ET on August 8, 2011 to the two email addresses below. Federal Aviation AdministrationAttn: David A. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to the SIR, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement. Please see the attached SIR Sections A-M. Note:Discrepancies, questions and clarifications on this solicitation must be submitted to the FAA no later than 11:00 am EST on July 25, 2011.
