- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in Florida, has a requirement for road maintenance on the Apalachicola National Forest, Wakulla and Apalachicola Ranger Districts, Wakulla, Leon, Liberty and Franklin Counties, FL. This is a solicitation for commercial items in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, supervision and other incidentals necessary to perform specified road maintenance on Forest System Roads in accordance with the Statement of Work and performance work statement tasks on an as-needed basis. The proposed contract award will be for a base year and four options years. Award will be made based on BEST VALUE to the Government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation factors are past performance, experience in performing similar work, technical capability, and price. Contractor shall have the capability and availability to respond to requests for road maintenance within 24 hours of notification by the Government. This solicitation is totally set-aside for small business concerns.
